Myroslav Bachynskyi

Myroslav Bachynskyi is a PhD student in the HCI group at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Saarland University and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”. Myroslav’s research interests are in the field of Full-Body Interaction, in particular in the performance and physical ergonomics assessment using optical motion capture and biomechanical simulation. Within recent project Myroslav has validated biomechanical simulation with OpenSim software and SIMM Full-Body Musculoskeletal Model in HCI setting, and now he is working on application of the simulation to multiple real HCI tasks.
