06Interactive Paper, Simon
Digital media is becoming increasingly immanent at our workplaces, mixing up with more traditional media, such as Pen & Paper. In this project we opted for preserving the unique affordances of both medias by allowing for creating links to digital information on paper. We allow for various formats, ranging between small stickers to tabletop sized deskpads. We conducted a multi-week field study. Our results show that the persistency and the ability to spatially structure both digital and handwritten information supports the everyday life of knowledge workers.
