Description
Recent advances in Generative AI are reshaping how we interact with technology, opening the door to innovative interfaces and new modes of human-computer interaction. This seminar will explore how Generative AI-driven techniques reshape future interfaces. Through a combination of paper readings, discussions, and presentations, students will develop a deeper understanding of key Generative AI techniques within the context of HCI while critically evaluating their role in shaping next-generation user experiences.
Activities
The seminar comprises a combination of readings, presentations, and a final term paper. Students will read two research papers in HCI both grounded in a key GenAI technique and present the papers. Finally, as a term paper, they will write a short research proposal on a novel interactive system designed using appropriate GenAI techniques learnt in the course
Registration
Please note that the number of participants is limited to 10.
Participation in person is mandatory for all seminar session!
This is a master-level seminar, which can also be taken by Bachelor students from 5th study semester and above.
